Manage or cancel your subscription
A sign-in is required there and it is separate from anything on this website. There is no password to remember and none to create: you enter the email address you subscribed with and a sign-in link is sent to you.
Once you are signed in, you can:
- View your payment history and download invoices.
- Update the payment method on file.
- Cancel your subscription.
Cancelling in the portal is complete in itself. You do not need to contact us, and you do not need to do anything in the Sotto application.
The portal is operated by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record for Sotto. Their name, rather than ours, may appear in the portal and on your card statement.
What this page is
Sotto's subscription billing is handled by our payment provider, not on this website. This page tells you where your subscription lives, how to reach it, and how to cancel.
Cancelling happens in the portal rather than here, and it needs access to the inbox for the address you subscribed with. Section 2 is what you need for your invoices, your payment method, or your cancellation.
If you have Sotto Stacks, this page does not apply to you. Sotto Stacks is free and creates no subscription.
What this website knows about your subscription
This website holds no record of who has subscribed and no record of subscription status. Your subscription lives with the payment provider, and your licence lives in the copy of Sotto installed on your machine. If you want to know your current status, the portal in section 2 is the authoritative answer.
We say that plainly rather than showing you a status we cannot verify.
Your license key and the installed application
Sotto Stacks is free and has no subscription, so there is nothing to manage in the portal and nothing to cancel. Your Sotto Stacks license key does not expire.
On a paid plan, cancelling your subscription and removing the software are separate actions. When a paid subscription ends your license reverts to Sotto Stacks, and everything you made at the higher plan stays on your machine, readable and exportable. Your research data stays in the environment you control and is not affected by anything on this page.
